PET THERAPY

It all started when…

Kristin decided she wanted to train a puppy to be a therapy dog to provide mental health services to her community and clients in her office.

Darwin, a hypoallergenic golden-doodle, has been part of Kristin’s family since 2017. Kristin and Darwin have been through extensive training to be a therapy team. They are a certified team through Miami Valley Pet Therapy Association. They visit Montgomery County Jail, Montgomery County Juvenile Court System, Ronald McDonald House, and Tail Waggin’ Tutors.

There are numerous benefits to pet therapy.
